Juliann sings in four languages and performs all genres of music in her jazz & blues and party bands including jazz, blues, r&b, funk, soul, disco, rock, rock&roll, country etc...

Since the release of Juliann’s North American debut full length album Don’t Explain in April 2010, Juliann has made record deals in four countries, won Best New Artist Original Jazz Music in the Barrie Music Festival & is opening for the first ever in 30 years, jazz festival in Canadian Music Week, she has reached the top 1-10 spots all over Canada and the UAS and has airplay on over 220 radio stations in Canada and the USA receiving rave  (see reviews) 
 
Her newest release 2017 A Good Jazz Collection , her originals album Broken Compass, Blue Girl Green- BLUES CD & her 2010 release Don't Explain showcase her innate gifts & versatility. They are a celebration of a life’s journey that has been by turns exciting & glamorous yet also challenging & painful. Her own indomitable spirit & influences from great jazz, R&B, soul and rock divas past and present shine all the way through.  
 
Broken Compass is graced by an all-star cast of Canadian musicians: David Restivo, Brian Dickinson, Scott Metcalfe (piano) Ross MacIntyre, Lee Hutchinson (bass), Mark Kelso, Sly Juhas, Glenn Anderson (drums), Kevin Barrett, Eric St Laurent, Nathan Hiltz (guitar), Richard Underhill, Alison Young (sax), Rob Somerville, Chris Butcher (trombone), Davide Direnzo (Percussion).  
 
Juliann’s passion for music & sharing creative energy with an audience radiates from the stage. In person, one is quickly impressed by the scope of her perspective & confident yet humble personality. She is equally informed by the glare of the spotlight & sheer hard work behind the scenes.  
 
Her musical voice has been shaped by over 25 years of diverse experience as a vocalist, actress, director, producer, dancer and choreographer.  
 
She has headlined the Mont Tremblant Jazz Festival, performed at the Celebrate Toronto festival, TD Canada Trust Jazz festival, Port Credit Street Festival, toured with Cats in Germany, Joseph... across North America, Beauty & the Beast in Japan, & performed at countless festivals & events around the world. Film & TV credits include: the long-running Canadian drama DaVinci’s Inquest, First Wave, The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio with Woody Harrelson, Julianne Moore & Laura Dern, Martin & Lewis with Sean Hayes. Juliann is the proud owner/ director/ choreographer of Pro Arts triple-threat events company & school and owner director of Norfolk County's Official Premier Festival South Coast Jazz  (www.southcoastjazz.com) most recently started South Coast Cultural Society a NFP arts organization bringing in diverse cultural programming and education enriching the areas communities.
